Catherine Murphy

Catherine Murphy is a native of Tuam and was educated at Presentation College Tuam. She graduated from UCD with an Honours Law Degree in 1986. She entered the Law Society in 1987 and qualified as a Solicitor in 1990.
Catherine has practised in Headford, Co Galway since 1989 , initially with the firm of Higgins Chambers & Co. In January 1999 Catherine established her own practice at Main St, Headford and the firm of Catherine Murphy & Co has acquired a reputation for delivering a quality personal and efficient service, serving clients in Galway city and County and South Mayo and indeed farther afield.

Roisin Burke

Roisin Burke is a native of Abbey, Loughrea, Co. Galway. She graduated from University College, Galway with an LL.B in 1999. She subsequently worked in the Dublin and Galway Offices of the Legal Aid Board, Refugee Legal Service.

Roisin qualified as a Solicitor in 2006 having commenced her apprenticeship with Catherine Murphy & Co. in April, 2004.
Roisin has a wide knowledge across many diverse practise areas and practices mainly in Conveyancing, Probate, Litigation, Landlord and Tenant and Family Law.

John Burke

John Burke is a native of Kilconly, Tuam, Co. Galway. He graduated from NUI Galway with a B.Comm and with an LLB degree in 2008.

He attended the Law Society of Ireland in 2012 and qualified as a Solicitor in 2014 having completed part of his training in the practice of Higgins Chambers & Flanagan, Headford.

John finished his training with Catherine Murphy & Co and has practised with the firm since qualifying. John specialises in litigation both civil and criminal with a keen interest in personal injury matters. He also specialises in the area of conveyancing and probate.

 

 

Joanne Leetch

Joanne Leetch is a native of County Roscommon. She graduated from NUIG in 2003 with a B.A (hons) and an L.L.B (hons) in 2004. She qualified as a solicitor in January 2010 having served an apprenticeship with Mary Mullarkey, Solicitor, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon.

She worked for a further period of two years post qualification with Mary Mullarkey Solicitor prior to joining Catherine Murphy & Company in April, 2012. Joanne specialises mainly in the areas of conveyancing, landlord and tenant, probate, litigation and debt collection.

Joanne has successfully completed Law Society Certificates in District Court Advocacy, Probate & Wills Trusts, English and Welsh Property Law and Conveyancing & Property Law. Joanne was also admitted as a solicitor in England & Wales in February, 2014.
